About this training
An open house can be one of the best lead sources in real estate, or a wasted Sunday. In this training, Jon Storey explains how to run an open house that serves the seller first and still fills your pipeline with new relationships.
Jon starts with why open houses are worth your time: they help the seller, can bring in backup offers and give you exposure to the whole neighborhood. From there he covers keeping your ads simple with one or two strong photos, putting signage where visitors enter, and paying attention to how long each visitor stays. The heart of the session is relationship first: greet people, make them comfortable and walk them through the three features that will sell the home. Jon also shows how to use a feedback clipboard and a QR code that leads to your social pages and a short video about what it is like to work with you, how to pick neighborhoods by turnover rate, and how to follow up with a short, personal text.
